Andorra (i 5) Vaca boja i conclusió.

Ens anem acostant. Una es queda pasturant, tranquil·la. L'altra, se'ns queda mirant.
Imma: -No ens mira malament?
Quim : -No dona, no pateixis, que ja s'apartarà...
Ens anem acostant.
I dit i fet. I tot això, mentre venia cap a nosaltres.

As a conclusion, they have been a very intense mini-holidays. Three days of outings (of approximately 7-8 hours each one), with quite enough heat. It has been hard, that's why I sign "Trencat de Cames" (bronken Legs) abut it has been worthwhile. The nature of Andorra and of the Pyrenees in general, is spectacular, especially for the people of plain land as myself. The urban scenery (so much squeezed of shops and shopping centers) contrasts with the natural scenery, leaves an a sort bitter sensation. As curiosity...: in three days we were not even one time "shoping"!
And to finish...
The anecdote of the crazy cow. Going trekking, it is very normal to come across flocks of cows pasturing. It is not a problem. They grant you pass or they ignore you directly. For example, the herd of cows of the houses of Ramió (the first photo), they made us suffer because the footpath was narrow and they were leaving without looking very much where they were going. Well, all right... so far the theory, because just after the Collada of the Maiana (the second photo), in this immense meadow we see, away, two cows. Quite far away. They were close to the way, but, as I have said earlier, it would not have to be any problem. We are approaching. One continues feeding, calm. Other one, one remains staring us.
Imma: - Isn't she looking at us badly?
Quim: - No, don't be afraid, she will go away already...
We keep on getting closer. And the cow comes closer to the path. We continue our way.
Imma: - and how is it that she is approaching us instead of moving away?
Quim (looking at the crotch, verifying that was it not a bull): - She will go away already...
In that moment, I, Quim, who also had noticed that the cow had approached a little too much, thought to myself: "As far as she doesn't breath heavily I doesn't scratch the soil it will be no problem..."
No sooner thought. The cow thought that the five meters that were separating us were the limit that we should never have crossed. He gets up on the back paws, blowing, and shaking the head showing how proud she was of her horns. And all that, while she was coming towards us. And we two in the middle of a meadow of hundreds of meters without any tree or wall where to protect us and loaded with the rucksacks. Of course, the experts will say to you that it is necessary to remain calm. But explain it to them in front of that cow marking territory! We did not have time to say to her that we are vegetarian! The feet were touching us in the bottom of so much running. Fortunately, the ego of the cow was satisfied and kept on feeding peacefully after demonstrating that that was her meadow was.
To summarize... the next time that you hear the Catalan saying "fer passar bou per bèstia grossa" ("to pretend that a bull is a big beast" that is to say, to exaggerate, to make something small big) ask him if he has never had an ox or a cow to two meters, roaring and jumping. Because, to be honnest, it seemed very big to Imma and to me.
