Espinelves

Excursió curta, aprofitant les primeres hores del matí per no passar calor. Deixem el cotxe al coll de Sant Marçal, i en dues horetes som dalt del Matagalls. El camí és agradable i fàcil, es puja per una bonica fageda. A mesura que pugem, ens trobem travessant els núvols que s'acumulen. Un cop dalt del Matagalls, hem d'aprofitar les estones sense massa núvols per observar el paisatge. De tornada, fem un petit circuït romànic: passem per Espinzella (el camí és tancat, és particular i hem de conformar-nos amb fer fotos de lluny), per Sant Sadurní d'Osormort, una bonica església que encara s'ha de restaurar, i finalment, per la bonica i restaurada església d'Espinelves. Quins contrast, aquestes dues darreres!

Excursión corta, aprovechando las primeras horas de la mañana para no pasar calor. Dejamos el coche en el cuello de Sant Marçal, y en dos horas estamos encima del Matagalls. El camino es agradable y fácil, se sube por un bonito hayedo. A medida que subimos, nos encontramos atravesando las nubes que se acumulan. Una vez arriba del Matagalls, tenemos que aprovechar los ratos sin demasiadas nubes para observar el paisaje. De vuelta, hacemos a una pequeña ruta románica: pasamos por Espinzella (el camino es cerrado, es particular y tenemos que conformarnos con hacer fotos de lejos), por Sant Sadurní d'Osormort, una bonita iglesia que todavía se tiene que restaurar, y finalmente, por la bonita y restaurada iglesia de Espinelves. ¡Qué contraste, éstas dos últimas!

Short excursion, we start early in the morning to avoid the heat. We leave the car at the neck of Sant Marçal, and in two hours we reach the top of the Matagalls. The path is pleasant and easy, it rises by a beautiful beechwood. As we rise, we find ourselves walking through the cumulated clouds. Once on top of the Matagalls, we have to take advance of the moments in which the clouds dissipate to observe the landscape. On the way back, we make a short Romanesque tour: we pass through Espinzella (the path is closed, it is private and we have to resign with making photos from far away), Sant Sadurní d'Osormort, one beautiful church that still has to be restored, and finally, the beautiful and restored church of Espinelves. What a contrast, these two last ones!
