Setmana Serrallonga (2)

Aquest és un còmic amb el que he arribat al meu límit com a dibuixant. Vaig haver de fer el llapis, la tinta i el color de 66 pàgines en tres mesos. Cada dia feia, o sis pàgines a llapis, o quatre a tinta, o quatre a color. Ara sé que en sóc capaç... i que si puc evitar-ho, no ho tornaré a fer mai més! Tot i que m'agrada l'època i el personatge, en vaig acabar totalment esgotat!
Penseu que si em posava malalt un sol dia ja no entregava a temps. No sé si va ser l'adrenalina o la sort, però vaig aguantar el ritme endimoniat els 90 dies...
Per ser justos, s'ha de dir que la Niki Navarro, la guionista, va pencar igual de ràpid perquè jo pogués anar dibuixant. I després del dibuix, les presses van passar al maquetista i a l'editor, i segurament, després d'ells a l'impremta i a la distribuïdora...
Ara, que tothom ha acomplert amb les dates d'entrega, i ja es troba el còmic a les botigues, no puc evitar una sensació d'orgull!

Este es un cómic con el que he llegado a mi límite como dibujante. He hecho el lápiz, la tinta y el color de 66 páginas en tres meses. Cada día hacía, o seis páginas a lápices, o cuatro a tinta, o cuatro a color. Ahora sé que soy capaz... y que si puedo evitarlo, no lo volveré a hacer nunca jamás! Aunque me gusta la época y el personaje, acabé totalmente agotado! Pensad que si me ponía enfermo un solo día ya no entregaba a tiempo. No sé si fue la adrenalina o la suerte, pero aguanté el ritmo endemoniado los 90 días...
Para ser justos, se ha de decir que la Niki Navarro, la guionista, trabajó igual de rápido para que yo pudiera ir dibujando. Y tras el dibujo, las prisas pasaron al maquetista y el editor, y seguramente, tras ellos a la imprenta y a la distribuidora...
Ahora, que todo el mundo a cumplido con las fechas de entrega, y ya se encuentra el cómic a las tiendas, no puedo evitar una sensación de orgullo!

This is a comic with which I have come to my limit as a drawer. I have done the pencil, the ink and the color of 66 pages in three months. Every day was doing, either six pages of pencil, or four to ink, or four to color. Now I know that I am capable of doing it... and that if I can avoid it, I never will not do it again! Although I like the epoch and the personage, I finished completely exhausted! You must consider that if I happen to get ill only one day it already meant not delivering on time. I do not know if it was the adrenaline or the luck, but I managed to keep this rhythm for 90 days... To be honest, I must say that Niki Navarro, the scriptwriter, worked equally fast so that I could be drawing. And after the drawing, the hurries moved to the designer and to the publisher, and of course, after them to the printer and to the distributor...
Now, that everybody has met the delivery dates, and the comic is already in the shops, I cannot avoid a sensation of pride!
