Setmana Illa de la Mà (1)

O "Busca les 7 diferències"! L'Illa de la Mà és un projecte que va tardar uns anys a veure la llum. Durant força temps, estava al calaix com a projecte. I com a projecte, tenia fetes quatre pàgines i la portada. Però, quan la gent de Dolmen em va donar llum verda per publicar aquest còmic, volia experimentar tècnicament. Una mica, si més no (sóc un home clàssic). Vaig estar provant diversos estils per allunyar-me de l'estil que utilitzo amb l'Orn, per provar a veure com em quedava. I aquest és el resultat. Un dibuix molt més esbossat i ràpid,... i també més fresc i àgil, crec jo. Com a dibuix a seques, crec que es nota el detall i dedicació de les antigues pàgines i fan de mal comparar amb el nou estil escollit per fer tot l'àlbum. Ara bé, com a dibuixant, hom sempre ha de buscar i seguir evolucionant. L'Illa de la Mà per mi ha estat un àlbum molt divertit i instructiu de dibuixar. És un estil de dibuix que de ben segur, repetiré en alguna altra ocasió....

O "Busca las 7 diferencias"! La Isla de la Mano es un proyecto que tardó unos años a ver la luz. Durante bastante tiempo, estaba en el cajón como proyecto. Y como proyecto, tenía hechas cuatro páginas y la portada. Pero, cuando la gente de Dolmen me dio luz verde para publicar este cómic, quería experimentar técnicamente. Un poquito, al menos (soy un hombre clásico). Estuve probando varios estilos para alejarme del estilo que utilizo con Orn, para probar a ver como me quedaba. Y este es el resultado. Un dibujo muy esbozado y rápido,... y también más fresco y ágil, creo yo. Como dibujo a secas, creo que se nota el detalle y dedicación de las antiguas páginas y hacen de mal comparar con el nuevo estilo escogido para hacer todo el álbum. Ahora bien, como dibujante, uno siempre debe buscar y seguir evolucionando. La Isla de la Mano para mí ha sido un album muy divertido e instructivo de dibujar. Es un estilo de dibujo que seguro repetiré en alguna otra ocasión....

Or "Search the 7 differences"! The Island of the Hand is a project that took a few years seeing the light. During some time, it was kept in the drawer as project. And like any project, it had four pages and the front made. But, when the people from Dolmen gave me the go-ahead to publish this comic, I wanted to experiment technically. A bit, at least (I am a classic man). I tested several styles to move away from the style that I use with Orn, to see how would it look like. And this is the result. A very outlined and rapid drawing... and also more fresh and agile, in my opinion. Just as a draw, I believe that it is evident the detail and the dedication of the ancient pages and they are difficult to compare with the new style chosen to do the whole album. Now then, as a cartoonist, one must always seek new techniques and keep on evolving. The Island of the Hand for me has been a very entertaining and instructive album of drawing. It is a drawing style that I will most certainly repeat in some another occasion....
